ABSTRACT:
ABSTRACT OBJECTIVETo establish a method for simultaneous determination of 8 components in the lyophilized product of
Chaihu shugan san decoction. METHODSUPLC method was adopted to determine the contents of albiflorinpaeoniflorinferulic acidnaringinhesperidinbenzoyl paeonifloringlycyrrhizic acid and α-cyperone in 6 batches of lyophilized product of Chaihu shugan san decoction. The determination was performed on Phenomenex column with mobile phase consisted of 0.1formic acid water-acetonitrile at the flow rate of 1 mL/minthe sample volume was 10 μL. The detection wavelength was set at 250 nmand column temperature was 30 . RESULTSThe linear range of albiflorinpaeoniflorinferulic acidnaringinhesperidinbenzoyl paeonifloringlycyrrhizic acid and α-cyperone were 3.606-8.41423.988-55.9721.218-2.84235.964-83.91612.009-28.0211.194-2.7863.609-8.4215.294-12.352 μg/mLrespectivelyr=0.999 5-0.999 9. The limits of quantitation were 0.2060.1780.2560.1680.1960.2420.2680.157 μg/mLrespectively. RSDs of precisionstability12 hand repeatability tests were all lower than 2n=5 or 6);the recoveries were 97.9398.1896.5797.6198.5197.4598.1496.91all RSD<2. The average contents of albiflorinpaeoniflorinferulic acidnaringinhesperidinbenzoyl guanosineand glycyrrhizic acid in 6 batches of samples were 59.258429.23723.173625.847200.42415.04867.620 μg/grespectively. α-cyperone was not detected because of its volatility. CONCLUSIONSThe method is simplestablereliable and accurate. It could provide reference for quality control of the lyophilized product of Chaihu shugan san decoction
